Dyslexia Assessment Norfolk

At Mancroft Learning I offer full diagnostic dyslexia assessments in Norfolk and Suffolk, which are able to confirm whether or not an individual has dyslexia. I also provide a clear picture of their cognitive profile, specifically their strengths and weaknesses. A detailed written report based on the results is provided including recommendations as to how school staff, other agencies, parents and they themselves can support their academic development.

Why have a Diagnostic Assessment?

There are a number reasons why you may decide to have a Diagnostic Assessment to find out if you, or your child, is dyslexic. For instance:

  • To help understand your child’s difficulties and know how best to help them at home, or be able to request more targeted support within the education system.
  • To support an application for Exam Access Arrangements (this should be discussed with the school/college first).
  • For students in higher education to apply for Disabled Students Allowance (DSA)

Once a person has been formally identified as dyslexic then they are considered to have a recognised disability covered by the Equality Act 2010.
